34. Implications of The Law of Attraction

These essays are written in sequence and build on each other. Read the preceding essay here.

For he that hath,
to him shall be given:
and he that hath not,
from him shall be taken even that which he hath
.

— KJV, Mark 4:25

In an earlier essay, we introduced the Law of Attraction of Similar Types as a basic Law of Creation i.e. one of the expressions of God’s Will and Power.

We can review this Law from various perspectives in order to better understand the Will of God expressed in It.

Constant progress.

The stronger attracts the weaker and incorporates it into itself. But what happens when all want to be strong?

We can get a sense of the answer that by looking at what happens in nature and in human affairs.

In nature we see that as the weaker members get eliminated the species evolves and becomes stronger.

In business we see that competition leads companies to focus on their strengths and become more specialized, and the industry as a whole evolves and becomes more advanced.

Therefore the Law of Attraction is a key driver of the evolution towards perfection in all things.

Help is always available.

Thoughts and prayers of a certain type will automatically be attracted to similar types. Through this Law the Creator has ensured that our good thoughts and prayers are not only connected to Him as the Source of all good,  but also connected to other human beings of a similar persuasion.

So when we pray and help comes from a stranger or a friend it is indeed an answer to the prayer, and it shows the Love contained in the living Law of Attraction.

In our earlier exploration of grace and mercy we stated that the Creator has already embedded infinite possibilities of help in His Creation. This Law is a key mechanism for that.

No boundaries to contribution and to responsibility.

The power contained in our will, thoughts, and words is automatically attracted to similar types.  This results in a strengthening of the “stronger” type, which eventually manifests in a visible action or happening.

This happening is spiritual; it is above earthly time and space. Therefore we are contributors to happenings taking place on the other side of the world, and in places we have never heard of.

If these contributions were of a good type then we will reap good, and if not we will reap the converse.

In the next essay we shall explore the behaviors and habits that best align with the Will of God expressed in the Law of Attraction of Similar Types.

Today’s Resolution:

  • We shall seek to put love at the centre of our volition, thoughts, words, and actions.
